What we do
Two ways to work with us: by the program you're targeting, or by the level of support you need. Every engagement begins with an honest read of where you stand — and a plan to get you further than you thought you'd reach.
By program
Each pathway is led by someone who has sat in that exact seat — and won admission and funding from it.
Top business schools across the US, UK, Canada, and Europe — positioned for admission and for scholarship dollars. Led by alumni of Kellogg and Owen who navigated this exact process.
US · UK · Canada · Europe, with fundingSpecialized and STEM master's programs in the US, Canada, and Europe's strongest schools — built around a sharp narrative of fit, intent, and trajectory.
US · Canada · top EuropeIvy League and Top-20 US universities, plus the UK and Canada. We build the profile early and tell the story that admissions officers actually remember.
Ivy / Top-20 US · UK · CanadaFully funded doctoral positions — assistantships, fellowships, and departmental funding. We engineer research fit and faculty outreach, not just an application.
Fully funded positionsHow we work together

Core services
Whatever tier you choose, this is the work — the parts of an application that separate a strong candidate from an admitted one.
Recommended add-ons
Layer any of these onto a tier — or take them on their own when that's all the situation calls for.
The entry point — an honest profile assessment and a roadmap you keep.
A rigorous outside read before you submit — or before you reapply.
Start early. Build the activities and arc that top-20 schools reward.
Sharpen the research fit and open the right doors before you apply.
Fulbright, Chevening, Commonwealth — campaigns run with intent.
A professional presence that reinforces the story your application tells.
The offer is the beginning, not the end. Visa guidance, funding paperwork, housing, and the practical work of actually arriving — handled.
Straight answers
No spin. If the honest answer is inconvenient, we'd still rather you heard it from us.
We don't publish prices because the right scope genuinely depends on where you're starting and where you're aiming — a single strategy call is a very different engagement from a multi-cycle PhD funding campaign. What we'll never do is quote you a number designed to anchor you before we understand your case. You'll get a clear, honest figure on the call, with no obligation to continue.
Because “free” means a university is paying them — and whoever pays is who the advice serves. Those agencies earn a commission when you enrol somewhere, so they're incentivised to steer you toward schools that pay them, not the school that's right for you. We take zero money from universities. You hire us, so our only loyalty is to you. That independence is the entire point of Candor.
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Admissions committees make the final call, and no honest consultant controls that. What we can promise is an honest read of your real chances, a deliberate plan to strengthen every part of your application, and that we'll tell you early if a target is a genuine reach — rather than taking your money and your time on a long shot we don't believe in.
Often, yes — a number is one input, not a verdict. A sharp narrative, the right school list, and a well-built case around your strengths can move outcomes more than applicants expect. On the call we'll tell you honestly whether your targets are realistic, where the gaps are, and whether they're closable this cycle or worth a year of positioning first.
Funding is woven through everything we do — scholarships, assistantships, fellowships, and external grants like Fulbright, Chevening, and Commonwealth. For PhD candidates especially, a “yes” without funding isn't really a yes, so we treat the money as part of the application strategy from day one, not an afterthought.
Not at all — it's where we started. Both founders made the exact journey from Pakistan to top U.S. programs and into senior roles abroad. We work with students wherever they are, over video and WhatsApp, and we understand the international applicant's path because we ran it ourselves.
Tell us where you are. We'll tell you, honestly, what it will take — and whether we're the right people to help.
